Next Evolution Coffee Shop

Next Evolution Coffee Shop is a plant-based coffee shop located at 4003 US-95 in Schurz, Nevada, on the Walker River Paiute Reservation, approximately 90 miles east of Reno. Founded by Andrea Martinez, an enrolled member of the Walker River Paiute Tribe, the shop was inspired by her personal healing journey and built on a “Think Outside the Box” mentality, serving acai bowls, kombucha, and lattes made with beans from a Native American-owned roaster — all prepared with plant-based milks to better serve a community where dairy intolerance is common. The shop is deeply community-minded, sharing surplus garden-grown produce with neighbors at no cost and sending handwritten words of encouragement on every drink sleeve.
