The Place Above the Notch

The Place Above the Notch is a woman-owned community café, on-site coffee roastery, and coworking space located at 2061 Main Street in Bethlehem, New Hampshire, founded by Angie with a vision inspired by Seattle’s vibrant coffee culture. The café serves house-roasted coffee, New York-style bagels, and local pastries, while also offering a dedicated coworking area — known as The Space — complete with high-speed internet and a private “Telephone Booth” for remote workers and entrepreneurs. Registered as a Benefit Corporation (B-Corp), The Place Above the Notch is committed to sustainability, community building, and serving as a social and economic hub for the White Mountains region.
