Mad River Coffee House & Roaster Room is a craft coffee shop and café located at 18 Six Flags Road in Campton Lower Village, New Hampshire, at the gateway to the White Mountains. Founded in 2005 by roast master Dave Levin — who began roasting coffee in his own kitchen in 1998 in search of a smooth, flavorful cup — the shop serves breakfast and lunch daily, featuring scratch-baked goods, legendary egg sandwiches, and a full espresso bar alongside its own small-batch, in-house roasted coffees sourced from around the world. Beyond great coffee and food, Mad River is an active community hub, hosting live music nights, coffee education events, knit nights, and local speaker talks, making it a beloved gathering place for both area residents and White Mountain visitors alike.
