Founded in Brooklyn in 2015 and rooted in five generations of Colombian coffee farming, Paper Plane Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee roaster and café located at 61 North Fullerton Avenue in Montclair, NJ. The business draws its name from the family’s high-altitude Colombian farm situated near eucalyptus-covered plains used for the national paper company — making it, literally, the “Paper Plains.” In addition to freshly roasted specialty coffees, the café is known for its inventive, cocktail-inspired beverage creations and has expanded beyond Montclair with a second location in Maplewood, NJ.
