Founded in 2019 by Maher and Monica Janajri, Queen City Coffee Roasters is a boutique coffee shop and roastery located at 200 Court Place in downtown Plainfield, NJ, with a second location in Clifton, NJ. The business takes its name from Plainfield’s nickname, “Queen City,” and was established with a mission to help revitalize the community through specialty coffee, local art, and an authentic neighborhood experience. With deep personal ties to the city, the Janajris built Queen City Coffee Roasters as a catalyst for Plainfield’s ongoing revival, sourcing freshly roasted coffees from world-class producers and offering a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike.
