AWE & WONDER

Awe & Wonder is a design-focused specialty café located at 35 Highwood Ave in Tenafly, NJ, opened in August 2023 by husband-and-wife owners Mike and Michelle, who bring backgrounds in design and hospitality. The café serves single-origin coffee, premium matcha sourced from Kettl and stone-milled in Fukuoka, Japan, houjicha, loose-leaf teas, and an assortment of pastries and baked goods in a curated, minimalist space. Beyond coffee, the owners founded the business with a mission to inspire the community, with stated goals to support local organizations and nonprofits through awareness, events, and collaborative initiatives.
