Slow Burn Coffee Roasters is a specialty small-batch coffee roastery and café founded in 2020 by co-owners Grey Smith and Jesus Zamora, located at 821 Mountain Rd NW in Albuquerque’s historic Wells Park neighborhood. The business operates out of a nearly century-old adobe building and is known for sourcing single-origin, specialty-grade coffee from small farms, with Smith having been named the best roaster in New Mexico by *Food & Wine*. Beyond coffee, Slow Burn actively supports the local community by partnering with nonprofits to raise funds for causes including women’s health care access, resources for the unhoused, and immigrant and queer rights.
