787 Coffee is a Puerto Rican specialty coffee brand founded in 2014 by Brandon Pena and Sam Sepulveda, who purchased an abandoned coffee farm and taught themselves to grow coffee as a community project. The company grows, processes, and roasts all of its beans at Hacienda Iluminada, its family-run farm in Maricao, Puerto Rico, overseeing every step from planting and harvesting to roasting. With its flagship New York location at 131 E. 7th Street in the East Village, 787 Coffee has expanded to multiple outposts across New York City, New Jersey, Texas, Mexico City, and Puerto Rico, offering signature drinks like the Coquito Latte and Tres Leches coffee alongside Latin-inspired pastries.
