Turkish Coffee Lady Apex, NC

Turkish Coffee Lady is a woman-owned specialty coffee café located at 1460 Chapel Ridge Road, Suite 170, in Apex, NC, that opened in September 2024 as the first North Carolina location of the Turkish Coffee Lady brand — a concept founded by cultural entrepreneur Gizem Salcigil White, who launched a traveling Turkish Coffee Truck before opening her first brick-and-mortar café in Alexandria, Virginia, in 2017. The Apex location is owned and operated by Nuriye Taskin and Elif Dilekoglu, who serve authentic Turkish coffee, teas, baklava, Turkish bagels, and other traditional pastries in a warm, community-centered atmosphere rooted in a 500-year-old tradition of hospitality and cultural connection. Driven by a personal mission to give back, co-owner Taskin founded the café with the intention of using its proceeds to support those in need, inspired in part by the devastating earthquake in Turkey.
