NoRa Cafe

NoRa Cafe is a neighborhood coffee shop located at 12333 Strickland Road in North Raleigh, NC, originally established in 2014 and reimagined under new ownership in May 2019. Voted the 2025 Best Local Coffee Shop of Wake County, NoRa serves specialty espresso drinks using beans from Carrboro Coffee Roasters, fresh-made Liège waffles, locally baked pastries, wine, and beer, alongside a curated selection of used books available through its on-site Library space. The café is deeply rooted in the local community, partnering with area makers such as The Pleasant Bee, Videri Chocolate, and Dog-Eared Books, while regularly hosting family-friendly events, local art exhibitions, and book clubs — and donating proceeds to a memorial endowment at NC State University.
