Urban Stampede

The Urban Stampede is a landmark independent coffeehouse located at the corner of Kittson and 3rd in downtown Grand Forks, ND, serving high-quality, ethically sourced coffee since its founding in 1993 by Kelly Thompson and Patti Eider. Housed in a historic former saloon, the shop features distinctive character details including a tin ceiling, dark wood bar, and stone floor, along with a gift shop and the “World’s Smallest Art Gallery.” A beloved community gathering place for over 30 years, the Urban Stampede welcomes locals, UND students, and visitors of all walks of life, and partners with Minneapolis-based Dogwood Coffee Co. to offer sustainably sourced brews.
