Thunder Coffee

Founded in 2017 by siblings Skyler, Dexter, and Nicole Dutton, Thunder Coffee began as a mobile coffee cart in the Fargo-Moorhead area before opening its first brick-and-mortar café in downtown West Fargo in 2019, located at 300 Sheyenne Street. The locally owned, community-driven specialty roastery began roasting its own beans in 2020 and expanded in 2023 with a second location inside Brewhalla, a multi-vendor hub near downtown Fargo. Thunder Coffee has been recognized nationally, having been voted one of the 10 Best Independently Owned Coffee Shops in the Country by USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Awards.
