Blackend Coffee Co. is a plant-based coffee and breakfast concept founded in Columbus, Ohio, by friends TJ Matisko, Aaron Best, and Blaise Bonsignore, who launched the business in May 2023 as a pop-up operating out of local bars and kitchen spaces around the city. The venture has since found a permanent home on the back patio of Ace of Cups, the Old North music venue and bar at 2619 N. High St., where it operates Wednesday through Sunday, serving espresso drinks, cold brew, lattes, and a fully plant-based breakfast menu — including signature items like the Warpig sandwich and Trashbrowns — with a stated mission of creating food that appeals to vegans and meat-eaters alike under the tagline “Breakfast for All.”
