The Galaxy Coffee

The Galaxy Coffee is Columbus, Ohio’s first queer- and worker-owned coffee truck, operating out of 3264 N. High St. and serving coffee, tea, lattes, and pastries with an inclusive, community-first mission. As a worker cooperative, the business offers employees an equal share, equal say, and equal part in ownership, while sourcing its brews from local Columbus roastery Upper Cup Coffee. In place of a traditional tip jar, The Galaxy Coffee uses a Community Jar system to help keep food and drinks affordable for everyone, and offers an accessible menu with vegan, gluten-free, and low-carb options — reflecting its core values of inclusion, accessibility, and community connection.
