Founded in the summer of 2011, Bent Tree Coffee Roasters is a small-batch, artisan coffee roaster located at 313 N. Water Street in historic downtown Kent, Ohio — the first and only coffee roaster in the city. The café offers a full espresso bar, OEFFA-certified organic and Fair Trade beans, locally baked goods from partners like Brimfield Bread Oven and Taproot Catering, and a retail selection of whole bean coffees available in-store, online, and at regional grocery partners. Sourcing only high-quality Arabica green coffee beans and working closely with farmers and cooperatives, Bent Tree is committed to ethical sourcing practices that benefit both growers and coffee drinkers alike.
