The Coffee Shop

The Coffee Shop is an independent coffeehouse located at 110 W. Main Street in Richmond, Ohio, opened in October 2025 by Annie and Frank Rogers — an ICU nurse and U.S. Navy combat veteran, respectively. Inspired by the community-anchoring role they witnessed in a small-town shop while living in Sunbury, Ohio, the Rogers family returned to Richmond to fill a gap in their hometown by creating a welcoming local gathering place. Partnering with Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea’s consulting program, they built The Coffee Shop to serve as a morning meeting spot, afternoon social hub, and after-hours community venue, hosting regular events and building customer relationships one cup at a time.
