About

Homestead Coffee Roasters is a family-owned small-batch roastery and general store located at 1650 Bridgeton Hill Road in Upper Black Eddy, PA, nestled in a 19th-century barn alongside the scenic Pennsylvania Tow Path near the Delaware River. Founded by Rick Lewis, whose roots with the Homestead General Store date back to 1979, the roasting operation formally launched in 2006 after years of sourcing and perfecting small-farm, organic, and fair-trade beans from around the world. As second-generation roasters, the Lewis family operates the adjoining General Store seven days a week, offering a traditional breakfast and lunch menu, fresh-baked goods, and locally sourced products — making it a beloved gathering spot for locals and visitors exploring Bucks County alike.
