Borealis Coffee Company

Borealis Coffee Company is a specialty small-batch coffee roaster and café founded by Brian Dwiggins, who opened the Riverside Square location in 2016 inside a renovated historic train depot at 250 Bullocks Point Ave in East Providence, RI. The name “Borealis” — Latin for “from the north” — reflects Dwiggins’ Alaskan roots and his commitment to honoring a strong local coffee culture. The café serves the Riverside community and visitors along the East Bay Bike Path, while also operating a wholesale roasting business and additional café locations in Bristol and Pawtucket.
