BITTY & BEAU’S COFFEE

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is an inclusive coffee shop located at 100 North Main Street in Providence, Rhode Island — the brand’s first Rhode Island location, which opened on October 25, 2025. Founded by Amy and Ben Wright in Wilmington, North Carolina, the concept was inspired by their two children, Beau and Bitty, who were both born with Down syndrome, with each location intentionally employing adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Providence shop is locally owned and operated by Rhode Island educators Anne-Marie and Patrick Scott and employs more than 20 adults with disabilities, embodying the brand’s mission as “a human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop.”
