Small Format

Small Format is a queer-cooperatively run art gallery, café, and exhibition space located at 335 Wickenden St in Providence, RI, offering coffee, cocktails, food, and a rotating showcase of local artwork. With BIPOC leadership and a worker-owned cooperative model, the space is rooted in LGBTQIA+ community values and inclusivity. Small Format also hosts free recurring community programming — including a book club and knitting circle — making it a beloved third space on one of Providence’s most vibrant streets.
