Oliver Gospel Roastery

Oliver Gospel Roastery is a mission-driven coffee shop and social enterprise of The Oliver Gospel Mission, located at 1120 Taylor Street in the heart of downtown Columbia, SC, that has been roasting its own beans in-store since its launch in October 2020. Every purchase — from espresso drinks and pour-overs to bags of freshly roasted coffee — directly funds Oliver Gospel Mission’s efforts to provide shelter, food, and resources to people experiencing homelessness in Columbia. Oliver Gospel Mission itself has served the Midlands since 1888, making it the oldest rescue mission in the Southeast and the sixth oldest in the country.
