Second Wave Coffee & More

Second Wave Coffee & More is a nonprofit coffee shop located at 529 South Lake Drive in Lexington, SC, established in 2018 as an extension of Arc of the Midlands — an organization dedicated to achieving full community life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The shop specializes in craft coffee, house-made baked goods, beer, and wine, set within a scenic creekside property featuring a cozy book nook, fire pits, outdoor games, and nature walking paths. Revenue generated through the café and its community events — including trivia nights, movie nights, a seasonal pumpkin patch, and a Winter Wonderland — flows directly back into Arc of the Midlands to fund job training, career coaching, and life skills programs for adults with IDD.
