Brickhouse Gourmet Coffee & Tea Co. is a locally owned café located at 729 Meeting Street in West Columbia’s River District, founded by Akera and Alexis Sellers and originally opened in March 2022. The shop specializes in freshly roasted, globally sourced gourmet coffees — including Single-Origin, Organic, Flavored, and Special Blends — alongside a wide selection of teas such as Herbal, Tisane, Loose Leaf, and Flavored varieties, with beans hand-picked by farmers from regions spanning Kilimanjaro, Africa to Oaxaca, Mexico. In addition to their café, Brickhouse is a regular vendor at the Meeting Street Artisan Market, reinforcing their active presence in the local West Columbia community.
