Hot Shots Espresso is a locally owned, drive-thru coffee shop founded in 2013 in Mitchell, South Dakota, born from a young entrepreneur’s passion for coffee at just 18 years old. Operating two locations — 322 East Havens Avenue and 1920 North Sanborn Boulevard — the business has grown from a one-person operation to a team of more than ten employees, and expanded to a second location in 2023 to mark its tenth anniversary. Known for a menu of over 80 flavors including extensive sugar-free and dairy-free options, Hot Shots Espresso has become a beloved community staple, even celebrating milestones like its 10-year anniversary by giving away free coffees to customers.
