Voodoo Coffee Shop, located at 1033 N. Minnesota Ave. in the Hillcrest Plaza of north-central Sioux Falls, SD, is an independent coffeehouse founded by entrepreneur Shah Afrouzi, who also operates the Shop N Cart and Neon Casino in the same retail center. The shop serves handcrafted espresso drinks, smoothies, teas, and a rotating daily food menu — with a custom roast developed in partnership with local Coffea Roasterie — and has earned recognition as a 2025 Best of BusinessRate Award Winner. Afrouzi’s vision for Voodoo is to be a welcoming community cornerstone in Sioux Falls, with plans for expansion to additional local locations and beyond.
