Matryoshka Coffee

Matryoshka Coffee is a queer-owned, art-centric coffee shop located at 370 Herron Drive in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, founded by Abbey Chiavario and opened in 2021. Built on the belief that good coffee should be fun and joyful, the shop is known for its maximalist, colorful space and playful menu featuring creative drinks like the Confetti Cuban — made with sweetened condensed milk, sprinkles, and edible glitter. Beyond great coffee, Matryoshka is committed to fostering an inclusive, community-centered environment and serves as a dedicated safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and other minority groups.
