Alpha Coffee – Big Cottonwood Canyon

Founded on September 11, 2010 by combat veteran Carl Churchill and his wife Lori, Alpha Coffee is a veteran and woman co-owned specialty coffee company located at 7260 Racquet Club Drive in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon. The shop offers craft coffee, espresso, tea, locally made pastries, breakfast burritos, and more, serving as a popular fuel stop for skiers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts headed into the canyon. Through their Grounds for Good program, Alpha Coffee donates a portion of profits to organizations supporting veterans, the environment, and the local community, and has shipped more than 13,000 bags of coffee to U.S. service members deployed overseas.
