Uncommon Coffee

Uncommon Coffee is a specialty coffee shop, café, and roastery located at 19 Essex Way in Essex Junction, Vermont, nestled within the Essex Experience shopping center. Founded in September 2020 by Maya Crowley — former manager of the beloved Burlington institution Uncommon Grounds, which roasted and served coffee on Church Street for over 25 years — Uncommon Coffee carries forward that legacy of high-quality, freshly roasted coffee in Crowley’s hometown of Essex. The café makes nearly everything from scratch, from house-roasted beans and house-baked breads to handcrafted chocolate syrups, and has quickly become a community gathering place welcoming students, remote workers, and neighbors alike.
