Founded in 2016 by Karen Scheffler, Catalyst Coffee Bar is a third-wave coffee house located at 10 Lake Street, Suite 2, in downtown Saint Albans City, Vermont, serving premium coffee and espresso sourced from roasters committed to sustainable and ethical agricultural practices. Inspired by exceptional café experiences across the Pacific Northwest, Scheffler set out to bring that same quality to northwestern Vermont, with a mission rooted in the belief that mindfully roasted, precisely brewed coffee creates meaningful connections for farmers, roasters, baristas, and patrons alike.
