1a Coffee Roasters is a specialty craft coffee bar and nano-roaster located at 123 West Main Street in Wilmington, Vermont, founded by husband-and-wife team Chrystal and Brian Holt — the name inspired by the address of their former home in Helsinki, Finland. The business roasts all of its single-origin coffee in-house in small weekly batches, offering a full espresso bar menu alongside Scandinavian pastries in partnership with Starfire Bakery. With a strong focus on sustainable business practices, the Holts have been credited with pioneering the specialty coffee scene in Southern Vermont.
