Founded in August 2020 by Hae Kim, Foundation Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roastery and bakery located at 9650 Main Street, Suite 46, in Fairfax, Virginia, tucked behind Fair City Mall in a creatively repurposed warehouse space. The shop is known for its unique multi-dimensional roasting approach, using quantifiable variables to bring out the best characteristics of each bean by variety, region, and processing method. With a theater-inspired interior design, in-house roasting, freshly baked daily pastries, and a welcoming communal atmosphere, Foundation Coffee has become a beloved gathering spot for the local Fairfax City community.
