The shop serves drip and percolated coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, floats, and baked goods, with its house blend chosen to evoke the historic coffee once served to guests at the local Norfolk and Western railway depot. The name pays homage to “Ye Olde Forge Tearoom,” a business from Grottoes’ railroad boom town era, and the interior is decorated with local railroad maps and historic photographs, reflecting the owners’ commitment to celebrating the town’s heritage and providing a welcoming community gathering space.
