Surrounding Counties

Surrounding Counties is a specialty coffee shop located at 7019 Three Chopt Road in Henrico, VA, tucked inside The Village Shopping Center. Originally opened in fall 2020 under owner Zach Archibald, the café built a loyal following by serving locally roasted coffee, kolaches, and wanderlust-inspired culinary creations, with gluten-free and vegan options available. Known for its eclectic atmosphere — complete with handmade ceramic items and vintage records — Surrounding Counties became a beloved neighborhood destination before announcing its closure in late 2024.
