Roast Rider Coffee + Cafe is a couple-owned, third-wave coffee shop located at 1554 Laskin Rd, Suite 116, in the Hilltop East Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Founded by Lisa and Wayne Richmon, the café is known for its ethically sourced, direct-trade, and organic beans — sourced from roasters such as Equator, George Howell, and Amavida — brewed with triple-filtered water and prepared by expertly trained baristas, alongside a full food menu featuring seasonal offerings, house-crafted syrups, vegan smoothies, and locally sourced baked goods. A neighborhood staple with over a decade of community presence, Roast Rider also hosts regular events including weekly jazz nights and pop-ups, and offers a dog-friendly outdoor veranda that reflects its welcoming, coastal community spirit.
