Founded in 2003 and based in Poulsbo, Washington, Grounds for Change is a family-owned, certified organic coffee roaster specializing in 100% Fair Trade, shade-grown coffee roasted in small batches to ensure maximum freshness. The company is a Certified B Corporation and operates as fully carbon-neutral from crop to cup, investing in clean energy and reforestation initiatives to offset emissions and using compostable packaging. In addition to direct-to-consumer sales and a Coffee of the Month Club, Grounds for Change supports independent cafes and restaurants through a wholesale program and offers a coffee fundraising program for community organizations.
