Broken Board Coffee

Broken Board Coffee is a specialty coffee shop located inside Focus Boardshop at 2358 E Springs Drive on Madison’s east side, opened in March 2021 by owner Kist after connecting with Focus owner John Dobbe. The shop offers a focused menu of single-origin pour-overs, espresso drinks, and house-made seasonal syrups, sourcing beans from a rotating selection of nationally recognized roasters anchored by Wisconsin’s own Wonderstate Coffee. Pastries are sourced from local bakeries including Heirloom Bakery & Kitchen and Level 5 Donuts, reflecting a strong commitment to supporting the local community.
