Rasta Barista

Rasta Barista is a Caribbean-inspired café located at 2352 S. Park Street, Suite 101, inside the Black Business Hub in Madison, Wisconsin, founded by Sei and Melissa Kidau — a couple who have called Dane County home for over 25 years and draw on their Jamaican roots and passion for community building. The café roasts its beans in-house and specializes in authentic Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, alongside a full espresso bar, island-inspired drinks, and Caribbean and West African food items such as jerk chicken and Jamaican beef patties. Situated within the Urban League of Greater Madison’s Black Business Hub, Rasta Barista serves as both a neighborhood gathering place and a cultural destination, actively contributing to the vitality of the Hub and Madison’s South Park Street corridor.
