The Open Door Coffeehouse

Founded in 2015 by Amber Schraufnagel, The Open Door Coffeehouse is a nonprofit coffeehouse located at 20 S Main Street in Historic Downtown Mayville, Wisconsin, serving locally roasted Luna Coffee and house-baked pastries in a welcoming community space. What began as a small mentorship initiative grew into a full-service coffeehouse whose proceeds fund free community programs including parenting classes, tutoring, after-school programs, mental health seminars, and family nights. The Open Door is dedicated to strengthening families and building life skills across Mayville and Dodge County, operating as a true “home away from home” for all members of the community.
